The largest Mangrove forests in the world are found in the World heritage Site, Sundarbans. This place houses the largest national park for the preservation of the magnificent Royal Bengal Tigers. Situated on the confluence of three major rivers- Padma, Meghna and Brahmaputra, you get the opportunity to explore the raw Sundarban on a cruise. If your luck favours, you may even get a glimpse of the Royal Bengal Tiger.
On your arrival at the Kolkata International Airport, our representative will receive you. He will hand you all the necessary documents and then you can further enjoy your trip the next day. By the time, take time to rest.
After freshening up and breakfast, we will move towards Millennium Park Jetty. During the afternoon, we will begin our trip and sail towards the south. You can enjoy the surrounding views of the Ganga. In some time, all of us will be at fisherman’s cove at Namkhana. This point is considered to be the entrance gate to Sundarbans.
Next morning, we will move towards east to experience the traditional lifestyle of the local fishermen. Once you enter Sundarbans, you will get the sight of the Mangrove forests. Next, we will move to the Lothian Islands to witness the Crocodile Project of Bhagabatpur. Next, we will take a halt at the confluence of River Malta and River Bidya. After some rest, we will move towards Netidhopani, Dobanki and Sajnekhali.
After breakfast, we will head towards the villages to experience the traditional life of the villagers. These people are usually very friendly and welcoming so you do not need to worry about anything.
Post breakfast, head towards Kolkata. On your way back, you will get to work on the ports of Haldia and Diamond Harbour. Once you reach Kolkata, our assistant will assist you till airport. You can catch your flight and visit to your respective further destination.
