The place is one such where you connect with the nature. Some major Ayurvedic destinations are situated in this region, so you may be able to enjoy these. This trip covers almost all the aspects of South India such as hills, beaches and more. Just in 10 nights and 11 days, you will get to experience all the major aspects with us.
On your arrival at Madurai, you will be received by one of our representative. They will give you all the important documents and transfer you to one of the pre-booked hotels. Madurai is the famous city for ancient and modern temples. Evening is at leisure, so you can enjoy your time in Madurai.
Post breakfast, we will set out on the Madurai temple tour. We will begin by visiting the Mariamman Teppakulam Temple (1645 AD), and the Palace of Thirumalai Nayak. In the evening, we will move to the Meenakshi Amman Temple which is 2500 years old, where will attend the evening rituals and prayer ceremony. Overnight stay at hotel.
Post breakfast, we will move towards Periyar by road. By late morning, we will reach Periyar and check in at the hotel. After lunch, we will set out on the boat cruise on the Periyar Lake. After visit, we will reach the hotel by late evening.
Post breakfast, we will drive towards Kumarakom. By evening, you will reach Kumarakom and check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure.
We will begin our journey early in the morning and visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. We will spend rest of the day exploring the wildlife and enjoying the wide range of birds. If you are lucky, you may spot a number of animals too.
Post breakfast, we will drive towards Alleppey. We will board into a traditional houseboat on arrival at Alleppey. The boat cruise will continue throughout the night and enjoy the overnight stay.
We will check out of the houseboat in the morning and drive towards Cochin. We will check in at one of the registered hotels. The day is at leisure, so you can spend the time on your own.
Post breakfast, we will visit the Jewish Synagogue built in 1557, St Francis Church and Mattancherry Palace. In the evening, you will get the time to relish on the traditional Kathakali dance. The dancers are adorned in heavy clothes and heavy makeup. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Post breakfast, our representative will take you to Cochin airport. From there you can board a connecting flight to Delhi and then move towards the country,
